GRATON, CA – Driver Killed in Crash With Truck on Occidental Road Near Highway 116

1 Dead After Car Strikes Truck That Hits Worker in Graton

 
GRATON, CA (January 15, 2019) – One person was killed, and a worker was injured Monday afternoon when a driver lost control of a vehicle and struck a parked truck on Occidental Road near Highway 116.
 
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. Monday.
 
Callers reported seeing a driver speed along Occidental Road before losing control of the Saturn vehicle. A car subsequently spun out and struck a parked tree trimming Ford truck, pushing it into an employee standing next to it, as well as a Chevy Silverado pickup nearby.
 
The driver of the Saturn was killed at the scene. The worker was brought to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation by authorities.
