Gilroy, CA (January 3, 2025) On Wednesday, a 29-year-old pregnant woman was killed after a Chevy SUV driven by Gonzalez Mora was involved in a fatal crash on Leavesley Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly crash occurred around 6:37 p.m. on Leavesley Road, east of New Avenue.

Reports say that a tragic multi-vehicle collision in Gilroy on New Year’s Day resulted in one fatality.

Authorities determined that 50-year-old Mr. Temores, driving a 2008 GMC truck eastbound at high speed, veered into the westbound lane, striking a 2021 Chevrolet SUV head-on.

The Chevy SUV was operated by Mr. Gonzalez Mora, while a 2020 Honda sedan, driven by Mr. Tobar, followed behind the SUV.

After the initial collision, the GMC truck continued forward and collided with the Honda sedan, tragically killing a passenger in that vehicle.

Officials say that the deceased passenger was identified as a 29-year-old pregnant woman.
