Girl Hospitalized After Car Crashes at Canyon Creek Street 1300 Block

 
Hanford, CA (July 16, 2020) – Wednesday evening, a girl sustained injuries after a car crashes on her bedroom at Canyon Creek Street 1300 Block.
 
Subsequently, police arrested a 24-year-old Antonio Mendoza for driving under the influence of marijuana.
 
The crash happened at around 10:30 p.m on July 15. HPD says the car crashed into a bedroom of a home and hit a bed where a 17-year-old girl was sleeping. The collision’s impact propelled the girl out of bed, and she struck a wall in the house.
 
Medics then transported the girl and Mendoza to Adventist Medical Center for their injuries. The girl later released.
 
At this time, Mendoza was booked into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of felony driving under the influence. His bail was set at $50,000.
