Young Child Hospitalized Following Bike Accident

 
EUREKA, CA (April 1, 2019) – A 9-year-old girl riding a bike suffered minor injuries Wednesday when a driver struck her at F and Hodgson streets.
 
The 4:30 p.m. crash happened at the intersection. According to news reports, the girl sustained minor injuries. Soon after, paramedics transported her to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the female driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigations. She was allowed to leave shortly after. However, an ongoing investigation concerning the accident continues.
