Giovanni Vazquez of Las Vegas and 2 Others Killed in Collision on US 95 [Las Vegas, NV]

Las Vegas, NV (June 2, 2023) – On May 20, Giovanni Vazquez, 24, of Las Vegas, Victor Jacuinde-Garcia, 22, also of Las Vegas, and a female juvenile, died in a collision on US 95.

The fatal collision took place at about 9:25 p.m. on the southbound freeway near mile marker 10.

According to the investigating officers, a white Chevrolet Trax was northbound on the freeway when it drove into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Dodge pickup.

The Dodge pickup rotated counterclockwise and caught fire while the Chevrolet rotated clockwise and rested in the southbound lane.

The Chevrolet driver, Jacuinde-Garcia, and passenger, Vazquez, were both declared dead at the scene.

Moreover, the Dodge Ram pickup was occupied by a male adult driver with two female adults and one female juvenile.

The female juvenile was taken to Desert View Hospital in critical condition but she died.

Officers are investigating the collision on US 95.
