APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 21, 2023) – Tuesday night, Gerald Duncan died in a horrific bicycle accident near Navajo Road and Ottawa Road.

The accident occurred at around 5:48 p.m. near Navajo Road and Ottawa Road.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian several feet away from the mangled bike in the middle of the road. Then, they declared the male bicyclist dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the white pickup truck driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with police.

Also, the crash led to the closure of Navajo Road in both directions, between Ottawa and Powhatan Road for the duration of the investigation.
