George Kouklis Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 30, 2019) — The authorities have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run in Sacramento over the weekend.
 
The Sacramento police said 60-year-old George Kouklis was crossing the street when he was hit by a car Saturday afternoon, August 24. They found the injured man in the area of North 16th Street and McCormack Avenue at about 1:35 p.m.
 
Kouklis suffered critical injuries. The emergency responders transported him to a hospital where he died Wednesday, August 28.
 
The driver left the scene after the pedestrian accident. The investigators are now seeking the public’s help that will lead to the arrest of the hit-and-run driver.
 
The police said the suspect vehicle is a newer model, black Dodge Charger. They believe the car has tinted windows and some front-end damage.
