GARDENA, CA – Pedestrian Hospitalized after Struck by Car at West El Segundo Boulevard and South Vermont Avenue

Late Afternoon Pedestrian Accident on West El Segundo Boulevard in Gardena

 
GARDENA, CA (December 9, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car late Sunday afternoon in Gardena.
 
The crash happened around 5:11 p.m. at the intersection of West El Segundo Boulevard and South Vermont Avenue.
 
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when the individual was struck by a white Lexus car.
 
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Gardena Police Department responded to the scene and located the pedestrian with unspecified injuries. The patient was then transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
An initial log did not indicate if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined.
 
The full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
