Gabriel Ramirez-Bustamante Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 5 [Orland, CA]

Orland, CA (December 20, 2023) On Sunday morning, a deadly pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 claimed the life of 39-year-old Gabriel Ramirez-Bustamante of Walnut Creek.

According to the CHP, the deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened around 1:30 a.m. n Interstate 5 in the Orland area, just south of County Road 7.

Reports say that a northbound vehicle, driven by Luis Franco of Phoenix, AZ, fatally struck the Walnut Creek man.

Officials pronounced Ramirez-Bustamante dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating the fatal pedestrian crash and has not provided further details about the incident.
