Fullerton Woman Dies in S Brookhurst Road Collision [Fullerton, CA]

Fullerton, CA (November 18, 2023) – A 67-year-old Fullerton woman sustained fatal injuries following a S Brookhurst Road collision Tuesday afternoon.

Fullerton Police Department officers responded at 5:11 p.m. to the area of West Oak Avenue and discovered that a blue Nissan Rogue and a black GMC Sierra were involved in a deadly collision.

Investigators stated that the GMC Sierra driven by a 36-year-old Anaheim man was southbound on Brookhurst Road.

At the same time, the Nissan Rogue driven by a 65-year-old Fullerton woman was traveling in the opposite direction.

Suddenly, a pedestrian ran eastbound of the intersection across Brookhurst Road.

The Sierra was able to yield to the pedestrian but the Rogue struck her. As a result, the Nissan threw the victim into the Sierra and into the intersection.

Responding officers declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
