FRESNO, CA – Bicyclist Hospitalized after Hit by Vehicle on West McKinley Avenue

Bicycle and Truck Collide on West McKinley Avenue in Fresno, Injuries Reported

 
FRESNO, CA (January 11, 2019) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Friday night in Fresno, CHP officials said.
 
The accident happened around 6:54 p.m. at 3185 West McKinley Avenue.
 
According to an initial report, the bicyclist collided with a truck for unknown reasons. When officers arrived, the rider was lying in the middle of the roadway with lacerations to the head.
 
Responding paramedics transported the patient to Community Regional Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
The entire roadway was closed until around 7:22 p.m. while officers worked on the scene.
