Morning Multi-Vehicle Crash on 880 Freeway in Fremont Sends One to Hospital

 
FREMONT, CA (March 28, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a four-vehicle collision Thursday morning in Fremont.
 
The collision happened around 10:12 a.m. on northbound 880 Freeway at Thornton Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, an orange Honda Element, a silver Infiniti, a gray Hyundai Elantra, and a fourth vehicle collided, sending debris in freeway lanes.
 
The impact caused moderate damage on the Hyundai.
 
One occupant was also injured from the crash and was taken by paramedics to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are in the process of investigating the incident to determine the ultimate cause and liability.
