11-Year-Old Frank Portillo Hospitalized Following LA Hit-and-Run Accident

 
Los Angeles, CA (March 26, 2021) -On Wednesday, 11-year-old Frank Portillo sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 42nd Street.
 
The Los Angeles hit and run crash took place east of McKinley Avenue.
 
Reports said the boy was running to catch up to an ice cream truck when a stolen car, a Chevy Tahoe, struck him.
 
The SUV driver stopped and got out to check on the boy. However, they left the scene without giving him any help or identifying himself.
 
The boy incurred bruises and scratches. Also, reports said the Frank might have hurt his left lung which is why he’s under observation.
 
Furthermore, witnesses said he was thrown 30 feet from the impact. Also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
 
Officers said he is expected to be okay.
 
Meanwhile, the SUV was described as a gray or beige 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with a California license plate number 6SEZ288.
 
The investigation into the accident revealed the Tahoe was stolen out of the LAPD’s Rampart Division on Sunday.
