BUKEYE, AZ (March 19, 2025) – Monday morning, Frances Gallegos, died in a horrific rollover crash on State Route 85 near Milepost 142.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. on State Route 85 near Milepost 142.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified 86-year-old Gallegos of Holbrook as the woman who died in the RV rollover crash. 

DPS reports that a tire blowout caused the vehicle to veer off the road and roll onto its side.

Aerial footage showed a large motorhome, towing an SUV, overturned beyond the highway’s shoulder.

Three people were inside the RV. Gallegos, the front-seat passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was hospitalized in critical condition, while another woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
