Two-vehicle Collision Stalls Traffic near Little Deer Drive

 
GRASSVALLEY, CA (November 23, 2018) – At least four victims were hospitalized after a two-car collision on Highway 49, early Saturday night.
 
According to police reports, the accident took place around 6:00 PM near Little Deer Drive. For unknown reasons, a Toyota Avalon rear-ended a BMW 4351 in the area.
 
Paramedics arrived at the scene and stated that four people had sustained injuries in the incident. One of the victims was transported to a Roseville facility, while the other three were taken to Sierra Nevada Hospital, Sgt. Brian Waughan stated.
 
Meanwhile, the accident resulted in a 30 to 40-minute delay in the northbound lanes of Highway 49, while southbound traffic stayed opened but with slow movement. There are no other details regarding the names of the persons involved, or the cause of the crash, as the investigation continues.
