Six Vehicles Involved in Collision near Ranchero Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (March 16, 2019) – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway, Saturday afternoon. Their identities have not been given.
 
State Officials say the auto collision took place near the intersection of Ranchero Road around 2:08 PM. First responders arrived to the area after receiving multiple witness dispatch calls.
 
Six vehicles were involved in the accident, based on an initial report. Three of which were identified as pickup-trucks. A white sedan was found wedged between two of the trucks. A red Toyota Camry and another car involved were also found at a nearby gas station.
 
Furthermore, three victims were stuck inside the sedan upon medics arrival. They were consequently extricated using the jaws of life. The occupant’s injuries were not immediately specified. However, they were airlifted to nearby hospitals upon medics arrival.
 
The current condition of the injured victims has not yet been updated. Additional details will be released once available.
 
The southbound lane was closed for an hour while crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary investigation. The cause of the crash remains unclear. An investigation is ongoing to eventually determine liability.
