Ford Driver Airlifted in Highway 247 Vehicle Crash [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (February 4, 2025) – A Ford driver and others were injured in a Highway 247 vehicle crash Monday morning.

The vehicle collision happened around 8:17 a.m. February 3, 2025, in the area of Old Woman Springs Road near Mikiska Bouvard.

According to the investigators, an RV motorhome pulling a trailer, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck pulling a Ford Bronco SUV, and a white Toyota 4Runner, were involved in the collision.

San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the Ford driver from being trapped in their vehicle.

Mercy Air helicopter from Big Bear airlifted the Ford driver to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with serious injuries. 

Another person was taken by ground ambulance to an area hospital.

Furthermore, two other people incurred minor injuries. One of them was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the collision, though, speed, medical issues, and the morning sun, may have been a factor.
