Morning Rollover Crash on 210 Freeway in Fontana Ends in Fatality

 
FONTANA, CA (March 23, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Saturday morning in Fontana, authorities said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:50 a.m. on 210 Freeway at Citrus Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray 4-door sedan was traveling westbound on the freeway when it overturned on the right shoulder.
 
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The overturned vehicle was towed away from the crash site.
 
The precise circumstances that led to the fatal accident remain unclear at this time. Further investigation is underway.
