DUI Suspected Driver Tries to Flee After Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Northeast 130th Street and 15th Avenue Intersection

 
Seattle, WA (May 22, 2020)– A fatal motorcycle crash was reported at Northeast 130th Street and 15th Avenue Northeast.
 
The collision was between a car and a motorcycle around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 130th Street and 15th Avenue.
 
Seattle Police said that the car driver, a 26-year-old man, was unable to stop at the intersection. As a result, it collided with the motorcycle that was going southbound on 15th Avenue Northeast.
 

Police Investigation

 
The driver fled on foot however, police officers caught him just a few blocks away from the incident scene. Moreover, police evaluated him and later confirmed that he was impaired and was driving under the influence.
 
The driver is undergoing an investigation for charges of vehicular homicide and hit and run. Furthermore, he was booked into King County Jail.
