Multiple-Vehicle Accident Reported near Vermont Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 26, 2018) – Five vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 101, early Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at approximately 6:11 AM on the northbound lanes of the road, just south of Vermont Street.

CHP officers identified the parties as a gray Toyota RAV4, a white Toyota Corolla, a gray Toyota sedan, a white Subaru, and an unknown car. Based on their report, one of the vehicles landed on top of another as a result of the impact.

Fortunately, no one was harmed nor injured in the incident. The paramedics were called to the scene for a precaution.

The commotion blocked the middle lanes as three vehicles landed in the right shoulder and two were piled-up in the No. 2 lane. Towing services were ordered by fire officials to clear the area and prevent any traffic hazards. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
