Person Seriously Injured in Sparks Crash
Sparks, NV (July 12, 2021) – On Sunday, five were injured in Spice Island Drive vehicle crash.
The accident took place at about 12:43 a.m. at the Purina Way intersection, in the Sparks industrial section.
The authorities said that one of the five victims, suffered serious injuries while another passed out while talking to police.
Officers said one vehicle was eastbound on Spice Island Drive approaching Purina Way.
At the same time, another vehicle was westbound on Spice Island Drive, also approaching Purina Way.
The eastbound vehicle turned left onto Purina Way and struck the westbound vehicle’s driver’s side.
As a result, the westbound vehicle spun out of control. Subsequently, it collided into a third vehicle parked at the curb and struck two people standing next to the parked vehicle.
Meanwhile, investigating officers do not consider alcohol as a factor in this crash.
