Five Injured, Nicholas Raygoza Arrested in DUI Crash Paradise Road [Las Vegas, NV]

Officers Arrest Nicholas Raygoza in Las Vegas Hit-and-Run Crash

Las Vegas, NV (August 01, 2021) – On Sunday, officers arrested the 27-year-old Nicholas Raygoza in a DUI hit-and-run crash on Paradise Road injuring several people.

Responding officers arrived at the scene at about 3 a.m. near the intersection with Sahara Avenue.

Investigating officers said a red Chrysler sedan was northbound on Paradise Road.

Apparently, it was approaching the intersection with Karen Avenue at a fast speed.

At the same time, a silver Ford sedan was southbound on Paradise Road. It was preparing to turn left onto Karen Avenue when Chrysler’s front struck the Ford’s passenger side.

Rescuers took all the Ford’s five occupants to Sunrise Hospital, where two passengers remain in critical condition.

On the other hand, Raygoza, the Chrysler’s driver, fled the scene. However, officers later booked him into the Clark County Detention Center.

Officers said he displayed signs of impairment during the crash.

Responsible driving include not drinking if you are driving.
