2 Dead in Phoenix Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (May 8, 2023) – Early Sunday, a fiery wrong-way crash on Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue killed 2 people.
The incident occurred just before 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue.
According to reports, a wrong-way silver Honda crashed with a red SUV and caught on fire.
Meanwhile, another vehicle then crashed into the wreckage.
After the incident, two drivers of the original crash succumbed to injuries. At this time, their identities remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Moreover, the incident shut down I-10 eastbound near 19th Avenue but has since reopened.
Also, the Arizona Department of Public Safety handles the crash investigation.
