Multiple Injuries Reported in Tragic Pinon Hills Auto Accident on Highway 18 and Highway 138
PINON HILLS, CA (May 25, 2023) – Sunday morning, a fiery vehicle crash on Highway 18 and Highway 138 killed one person.
The incident happened at around 1:12 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 138.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray and a black sedan collided for still unknown reasons. Then, one of the vehicles involved erupted into flames after the collision.
Moreover, officers confirmed that witnesses attempted to pull one individual out of a burning vehicle, but to no avail. Then, paramedics airlifted a child to a hospital with minor injuries. Also, authorities said that another child and an adult sustained critical injuries while a second adult and child suffered minor injuries in the incident.
At this time, the vents leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
