Fiery Interstate 80 Collision Kills Passenger [Sparks, NV]

Sparks, NV (May 29, 2023) – On Sunday morning, a passenger died and two others were injured following a fiery Interstate 80 collision.

The deadly traffic collision happened at about 4:02 a.m. on the westbound freeway approaching Pyramid Way.

Investigating officers said the vehicle struck a guardrail and started fire. The passenger in the vehicle died in the accident while the medical team rushed the vehicle’s driver and another passenger to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the Sparks solo-vehicle collision.
