Fidelmar Duran Perez Dead in Mesa View Drive Collision

Fatality Reported in Victorville Motorcycle Crash

Victorville, CA (October 1, 2025) – Fidelmar Duran Perez, a 30-year-old motorcycle from Victorville, lost his life in a Mesa View Drive collision late Monday afternoon.

The fatal collision happened past 5 p.m. on September 29 at the intersection with Bear Valley Road.

Investigators said that Charles Gilmore, 76, of Victorville, was driving an eastbound brown Buick Lacrosse on Bear Valley Road in the number one turn lane and was attempting turn northbound onto Mesa View Drive.

At the same time, a black Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, driven by Perez, was westbound in the number one lane toward the intersection.

Gilmore turned in front of Duran Perez and the motorcycle broadsided the vehicle.

Sadly, Duran Perez was declared dead at the crash scene.

Gilmore remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Troopers are asking anyone with information about this collision to contact Deputy J. Stroik or Deputy R. Smith at the Victorville Police Station at (760) 241-2911.
