Jacob Rush Arrested in Scotts Valley DUI Crash, Injuring 24-Year-Old Female Passenger

 
Scotts Valley, CA (November 19, 2020) – On Saturday, 25-year-old Jacob Rush together with his 24-year-old female passenger were injured in a DUI crash on Highway 17.
 
The accident took place at about 10 p.m., when Rush was driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Highway 17.
 
He turned unsafely, causing the vehicle to strike an embankment and rollover.
 
Finally, the jeep stopped in the roadway.
 
The rescuers took Rush and his passenger to a trauma center with major injuries.
 
Authorities arrested Rush on suspicion of DUI.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities closed southbound Highway 17. Also, traffic was detoured onto Glenwood Drive for nearly three hours.
