Two Killed Another Injured in Westminster Collision

Westminster, CA (February 6, 2023) – Earlier today, two people died while another sustained injuries following a Beach Boulevard multi-vehicle crash.

The fatal collision happened before 1 p.m. in the 14500 block area involving four vehicles.

“Witnesses on the scene reported an older unknown type minivan was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed in the southbound lane of Beach Boulevard,” WPD officials said. “The minivan collided with three other vehicles.”  

The Orange County Fire Authority immediately responded to the scene and began treating the three people.  

However, the minivan driver, a man in his 80s, died at the crash scene. 

The paramedics rushed a minivan passenger, a woman in her 70s, to the hospital where she died.  

Similarly, the rescuers also took the driver of another vehicle to UCI Medical Center with a leg injury.

Officers are still investigating the Westminster collision.
