Spanaway, WA (November 1, 2024) On Wednesday morning, a 79-year-old woman was killed after a horrific pedestrian crash on State Route 7.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal accident happened at about 5:46 a.m. near 20307 Mountain Highway East.
Reports say that a car fatally struck a 79-year-old woman. According to the report, the woman was attempting to cross the road from west to east when a northbound car, driven by a 32-year-old woman from Graham, hit her.
Authorities confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. The driver was permitted to leave the scene following the investigation.
