15-Year-Old Girl Struck and Injured by Big Rig in Highway 195

 
Colton, CA (April 17, 2021) – On Thursday, a 15-year-old girl was struck and injured by a semi-truck on Highway 195.
 
The accident took place at about 8:40 P.M.
 
Officers responded to a report of a family disturbance at a home. However, before they arrived, a juvenile female fled from the incident.
 
The juvenile ran onto the highway, where a passing semi-truck struck her.
 
Unfortunately, she was seriously injured in the crash.
 
Right away, rescuers airlifted her to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Her condition was unknown as of late Thursday night.
 
Moreover, officers closed down the highway in directions for nearly an hour during the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the sheriff’s office will investigate the initial family disturbance while the Washington State Patrol investigates the crash.
