Female Sedan Driver Airlifted in Sixth Street Accident

Victorville, CA (June 11, 2021) – On Thursday, a female sedan driver was critically injured in Sixth Street vehicle crash.

The accident took place at about 6:53 a.m. at the intersection with D Street, wherein a silver Volkswagen sedan and a Chevy Suburban were involved.

The authorities responded to the accident and found two vehicles with major damage blocking the westbound lanes.

Rescuers took the female sedan driver to Victor Valley Global Medical Center with critical injuries. Then, they airlifted her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Apparently, the sedan was southbound on Sixth Street. Then, she blew the stop sign at D Street and caused the accident.

Meanwhile, rescuers took the Suburban driver to St. Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Due to the crash, the officers temporarily closed the westbound lanes in order to allow for clean-up and removal of the vehicles. Also, a light pole in front of the Victor Valley Transit Center was damaged.

Please call 760-241-2911 if you have further details about the incident.

Since you cannot read the intention of the driver in front of you, don’t tailgate. Maintain some distance between your vehicle and the one ahead in order to give yourself enough response time should the vehicle ahead make a sudden turn or stop.
