Female Driver and 2 Juvenile Passengers Hospitalized after Rear-End Crash on 15 Freeway near Highway 138 [Oak Hills, CA]

3 Injured in Oak Hills Car Crash on 15 Freeway

 
OAK HILLS, CA (May 24, 2020) – A female driver and 2 juvenile passengers sustained injuries in a rear-end crash on 15 Freeway on May 17.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received reports of the crash at 4:30 p.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway between Highway 138 and Oak Hill Road.
 
Moreover, the crash was between a blue Nissan Sentra that rear-ended the back of a semi-truck.
 
The scanner traffic revealed that a female driver was stuck in the sedan. Meanwhile, the responders pulled out two children from the vehicle and took them via an ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
 
Fortunately, the firefighters successfully extricated the female driver. A helicopter then landed on the freeway and airlifted her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
Before the Mercy Air helicopter arrives, the CHP officials temporarily closed the freeway to let it land.
 
Furthermore, the incident logs confirmed that one of the juveniles is a 13-year-old boy. However, the other child’s age wasn’t revealed.
