1 Killed in Tucson Two-Vehicle Accident on South Nogales Highway near Bilby Road
TUCSON, AZ (June 9, 2021) – Monday, a 15-year-old female died following a Saturday high-speed crash on South Nogales Highway near Bilby Road.
The incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. near the 6200 block of South Nogales Highway near Bilby Road.
Moreover, the Tucson Police Department revealed that after a 15-year-old female rear-ended another vehicle, responders took her to the hospital. She sustained life-threatening injuries.
The authorities confirmed that the female teenage driver traveled at a high rate of speed. After she hit the other vehicle, she crashed through a guard rail. Eventually, she stopped on the west side of Nogales Highway.
Last Monday, she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, an investigation revealed that the teen had no license or driver’s permit.
Moreover, responders also transported two passengers from the deceased driver’s vehicle to the hospital.
On the other hand, responders also took the other vehicle’s driver and a passenger to the hospital.
At this time, their condition remains undisclosed.
