Deadly Crash on Donna Street
Las Vegas, NV (October 01, 2021)– On Thursday, a female bicyclist believed to be in her 50s died in a crash on Donna Street.
The authorities received the crash report at about 7 a.m. at the intersection with Washburn Avenue, just east of Mojave High School.
Officers said that a Mercedes SUV was eastbound on Washburn Avenue approaching Donna Street, but failed to stop for a stop sign.
At the same time, the female bicyclist was in the intersection. She was at a complete stop on Donna Street where she was hit.
The emergency rescuers took the bicyclist to UMC where she died.
Moreover, the involved driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Officers said speed is considered a factor in the incident.
