Feliciano Sanchez-Medina Dies in Mountain View Boulevard Crash in Surprise

Surprise, AZ (December 16, 2021) – Thursday morning, 60-year-old Feliciano Sanchez-Medina died in a crash on Mountain View Boulevard.

The fatal crash in Surprise happened at around 8 a.m. on December 16 near Colonnade Way.

Surprise Police said a landscaping team was working adjacent to the roadway when one of the men, Sanchez-Medina, was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling east on Mountain View Boulevard.

EMS took the victim to the hospital but later died.

Investigators said it does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. It’s also unclear if the driver involved will face any charges.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.

The family is hoping to raise funds for Feliciano’s funeral and other expenses if anyone feels inclined to donate.
