One Unidentified Man Injured in Maytown Collison near Southwest 113th Avenue

MAYTOWN, WA (November 28, 2018) – Wednesday morning, one unidentified FedEx driver sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 5.

The accident occurred around 8:30 A.M., according to the Washington State Patrol. A northbound semi was reportedly traveling at high speeds on the wet roadway when the vehicle began to lose control. The semi then drove through the center barrier and into the southbound lanes, before striking a southbound FedEx truck.

First responders found bags of powdered milk from inside the semi spilled across the freeway. All southbound and northbound lanes surrounding the collision were shut down as crews worked on cleanup and preliminary investigation, but have since reopened.

WSP say the FedEx driver suffered injuries, but his current condition is unknown at this time. The semi-truck driver was reportedly unharmed. No further information has been disclosed to the public.
