Deadly Burlingame Accident on Highway 101 near Millbrae Avenue
BURLINGAME, CA (February 9, 2021) – Monday morning, a wrong-way crash on Highway 101 near Millbrae Avenue led to a fatality.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:48 a.m. A wrong-way driver crashed into a dump truck on Highway 101 near Millbrae Avenue.
As a result, two northbound lanes were closed which caused a massive backup. Thus, the CHP warned motorists of lengthy traffic delays.
Moreover, a coroner responded to the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether there were other injuries.
Also, they haven’t provided an estimate of the lanes’ reopening.
