Passenger Killed in Cold Springs Auto Accident on US-395
COLD SPRINGS, NV (January 25, 2021) – Sunday morning, a fatality was reported in a single-vehicle crash on US-395 near Cold Springs.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), a vehicle overturned on US-395 and Cold Springs.
As a result, responders took the driver with non-life-threatening injuries to a hospital. They confirmed that the driver wore a seat belt at the time of the crash. Meanwhile, the passenger failed to use a seat belt. Thus, the passenger was thrown off from the vehicle and died at the scene.
At this time, the authorities believe that impairment played a role in the crash.
Also, the road has since reopened.
