1 Killed in Gilbert Pedestrian Crash on Santan Loop 202 Freeway

 
GILBERT, AZ (November 18, 2020) – Friday morning, a pedestrian accident on Santan Loop 202 Freeway led to a fatality.
 
The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. near the eastbound on-ramp of 202 Freeway.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials revealed that a vehicle struck a man who was removing debris from the roadway.
 
After the crash, the driver remained at the scene and helped with the DPS.
 
Furthermore, the crash led to the closure of the eastbound lanes during the investigation.
 
The road has since reopened.
