SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 25, 2025) – Monday morning, a horrific auto accident on Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street led to a fatality.

The incident happened at about 12:50 a.m. on the southbound Highway 101 near the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp.

Two southbound lanes were shut down following the collision, but the highway was reopened by 2:50 a.m.
