Deadly Kansas City Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 35 and Pleasant Valley Road

KANSAS CITY, MO (June 16, 2025) – Early Monday morning, a horrific motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 led to a fatality.

The incident happened on southbound Interstate 35 at Pleasant Valley Road.

The crash involved a motorcycle along with several other minor collisions, according to the highway patrol.

As of 5:40 a.m., both northbound and southbound lanes of the interstate were closed, with all traffic being diverted to Pleasant Valley Road. Troopers are urging drivers to avoid the area and use I-435 and MO-152 as alternate routes while the investigation and cleanup continue.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
