One Dies, Another Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on State Route 18 [King County, WA]

Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on State Route 18 in King County

 
King County, WA (February 26, 2021) – On Thursday, one individual died and another was injured in a wrong-way crash on State Route 18.
 
The fatal Washington crash happened at Auburn Black-Diamond Road wherein a driver traveling the wrong way struck another driver head-on.
 
Unfortunately, the driver going in the right direction died in the King County accident.
 
On the other hand, rescuers airlifted the driver going the wrong-way to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
 
That driver was placed under arrest for investigation of vehicular homicide, troopers said.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
