One Dead in Hit-and-Run Two-Car Crash at Buena Vista Drive in Manteca

 
MANTECA, CA (June 11, 2019) – A hit-and-run two-vehicle crash at Buena Vista Drive and East Woodward Avenue turned deadly Sunday night.
 
The 10:30 p.m. accident involved two vehicles. Reports say a driver and a passenger from one of the cars fled the scene. Another passenger, still in the vehicle, suffered significant injuries. Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the 37-year-old Stockton woman to a hospital where she died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the other car stayed at the scene and spoke to officers about the crash. However, it is still unclear what led to the accident.
