Madera Auto Accident Turns Deadly on Avenue 18 1/2

 
MADERA, CA (June 3, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, a fatal truck crash occurred on Avenue 18 1/2 in Madera County.
 
The crash involving two vehicles occurred at about 5:20 a.m. on Avenue 18 1/2 and Road 13, west of Madera.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol officers, a driver traveling down 18 1/2 Avenue rear-ended a slower tractor. The said tractor was pulling a large piece of a farming equipment on the road.
 
The CHP officers are currently investigating the deadly accident.
 
The surrounding area on Avenue 18 1/2 was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
 
Furthermore, the authorities dispatched towing services due to the extent of damage sustained.
