1 Male Pedestrian Killed in Seattle-Bound Train Accident on Sunnyside Beach Park

 
Steilacoom, WA (April 25, 2020)– A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a train on Sunnyside Beach Park on Wednesday evening.
 
According to a spokesperson, the man was seen walking along the railroad at about 6:30 p.m. on April 22.
 
Consequently, an oncoming northbound Amtrak train near Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom. struck the man.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, officials pronounced the man dead at the scene, the spokesperson reported.
 
Before the incident, the Amtrak train travelled from Portland, en route to Seattle. Later, the train stayed at the scene for the investigation.
 
At around 9 p.m., the train was allowed to leave the area after almost 3 hours.
 
Currently, there was no further information released. However, this post will be updated once new information is available.
