1 Person Dead in Laredo Auto Accident on US 83 and Market Street

LAREDO, TX (May 22, 2205) – On Wednesday, a fatal rollover crash on US 83 and Market Street killed one person.

The incident happened on US 83 and Market Street.

According to reports, an SUV lost control crashed into a cement wall, and rolled over. Then, the force of the crash ejected a 7-year-old passenger of the vehicle into the roadway.

Moreover, responders rushed the ejected passenger to Laredo Medical Center where the patient was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported a three-year-old, a nine-year-old, and a 27-year-old female passenger of the vehicle to a hospital with non-critical injuries.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the ejected passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
