LAS VEGAS, NV (July 2, 2019) – A person died in a single-vehicle rollover car accident on Highway 95 on July 1.
 
According to NHP Trooper Travis Smaka, one person died in the fatal crash on Highway 95 at Mile Marker 34 about 4:45 a.m. However, police have not revealed any other information regarding the details of the accident at this time.
 
NHP also revealed that the involved vehicle transported illegal fireworks. It is unknown at this time if anyone will be charged for the fireworks.
 
Smaka also added that the crash stalled traffic in both directions and shut down Nipton Highway. The lanes reopened just before 9:00 a.m. Police are investigating the cause of the accident at this time. However, the police and authorities will release more information as it is provided.
