REDDING, CA (February 20, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a fatal pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 near Knighton Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5, north of Knighton Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was wearing dark clothing and walked into the traffic.
