1 Person Dead in Santa Fe Springs Pedestrian Accident on 605 Freeway and Telegraph Road

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (June 15, 2025) – Friday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on 605 Freeway and Telegraph Road killed one person.

The incident happened around 8:56 p.m. on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway and the Telegraph Road off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol Officer Megan Curtis, a white Honda sedan struck a pedestrian for unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed the HOV and numbers 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
