1 Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on Valley Hi Drive

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 27, 2020) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on Valley Hi Drive on February 25 in South Sacramento.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the pedestrian struck by a vehicle in South Sacramento succumbed to his injuries.
 
His identity remains unreleased as of this time.
 
At about 3:15 p.m., the pedestrian was hit as he was walking in the area of Valley Hi Drive and Mack Road, stated the Sacramento Police Department.
 
The police also said that responders took him to a local hospital with major injuries, where he later died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
 
The police department also ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the collision. Before 10:00 p.m., Mack Road reopened post investigation.
